- Billboards    The billboards is the United States music industry standard singles popularity chart issued weekly by Billboard magazine. Chart rankings are based on radio play and sales. The tracking-week for sales begins on Monday and ends on Sunday, while the radio play tracking-week runs from Wednesday to Tuesday. A new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by Billboard on Thursday.Here I can read reviews on newly released albums. While reading the reviews, I can incorporate other reviewers opinions along with mine. With both our reviews, it can defiantly help my blog reader to determine if they would want to listen to the newly released album. The billboard is a solid place of legit information where I can also see how the album sells its first week. 


Rolling Stones The rolling stones provides reviews and articles on music artist. Usually when an artist is about to release an album, depending on their popularity may grace the front page of the magazine. Since the magazine is respected, its a great way for an artist to promote their album.


- iTUNES Itunes is a place where people can purchase music singles or albums by their favorite artist. Here  I will be able to look at digital sales unlike the billboard (physical sales). This will definitely help and interest my blog readers. There is also a chart that shows how albums/singles are doing digitally. 


-Perez Hilton Now a days, I believe album sales aren't only if the music is good or not, but also if there is any controversy or if an artist pulls a crazy stunt right before their album is released. This can also HELP or NOT help an artist with their sales. For example, Janet Jackson 2004 super bowl controversy did not help her album "Damita Jo" which was released couple months after. Here I will be able to get legit "gossip" that will definitely interest my reader. This website is usually for pop artist. 


- That Grape Juice This blog is similar to Perez where I can get any info on artist but this is for mainly RnB and hip hop artist. Also I can see what Artist are promoting their work. Are they going on talk shows to do interviews? Are they performing their single on a award show? etc.


- Wild 949 Wild 949 is a local radio station here in the Bay Area which usually plays pop to rnb to hip hop. Here I can see how the artist radio single is doing locally. A single can be a HIT! But just because you have a hit single, doesn't mean that your album will come in at number 1.


- KMEL KMEL is also a local radio station in the Bay Area which is strictly rnb and Hip hop. Here I will also be able to see how a single is doing locally on the charts. If they are getting much air play or not in the rnb and hip hop community. 


- CyberTLC Cyber TLC is a forum that Ive been a member since 2003. In the General Discussion people talk about artist, reviews and such. I think the forum would be a good place for info, because I myself can post a thread and get other peoples opinions. These are the people who are purchasing artist music. Its also a diverse place, from different states in the United States, and also overseas. 


-MediaFire Mediafire is a place where i will download albums. I know that downloading music illegally is bad, but I only buy an album if I like more than half the songs. Mediafire is a place where when albums leak, you are able to download an album, before the release date. The CyberTLC fourm is where the links are provided majority of the time for me to find. But mediafire is a place where you can upload files for others to download. 


Vevo- What also can help with album sales are the first single from the album, and the video. Videos now a days can help with album sales. Here at vevo I will be able to provide an HD link to an artist 1st single from that album.
